EAA SAR K2P 9MM...yes or no?
« on: April 01, 2019, 11:55:45 AM »
I see that CDNN has the EAA SAR K2P 9MM for $249.  Any OWNERS comments on it as to yes or no if you like and would buy it again would be appreciated.

YES!!!  :)  Note that these are leftover stock from EAA, which no longer carries the Sarsilmaz line.  SAR USA now imports the Sarsilmaz Firearms.
EAA has said that they will still support their Warranty on all Pistols that they import.

Also note that the K2P model is discontinued from import in favor of the newer CM9.  Some have mentioned that the older K2P may have a stronger frame.

I have one and I used it as my CCW for three Winter seasons.  Accurate, reliable, and very reasonably priced.  What's not to like.

SAR K2P with Magazines and Hogue Handall Grip

Note that the SAR K2P will work very well with Mec-Gar Cz75B 17 and 19 round Magazines.

Hiya Mike and thx for the thread, plus one on the comments and I've owned several EAA's steel/poly 9mm's and low price and super high value, out of the box accurate and easy to shoot. The trigger action rivaled a short reset kit in the base price. With tariffs and profit to make,I don't see how the prices have been so low for years. Buy with confidence. Be well.

Sadly the K2P was only manufactured in 2013, it is my best price/quality gun I own. I wouldn't sell mine for any money, polymer quality is OUTSTANDING. After my son in law fired mine, he ordered one from CDNN the next day. BUY THIS GUN.... you will need to buy a second mag though.

I'm in a holding pattern right now on buying this.  Last time I wanted a CZ compact and settled for a Tri Star C100....great gun , but not the real thing and even though I save $$$ never satisfied.  I was looking for a PO1 and found the SAR.  Do not want the good price to once again make me regret not waiting and finding the actual gun I want.

Standard cz 75 mags fit my K2P, the length is a little off, but in a pinch, they?ll do. Really like my K2P, actually sold it to a friend and was able to get it back. I have the camo slide version. Great gun for the $!! Trigger is a little mushy, but that?s the only thing I?d gripe at all about, but I?m prob being a little picky. Used to carrying P01. GL!!

You can still get another one, as CDNN still has them on sale at a bargain price.   https://www.cdnnsports.com/eaa-sar-k2p-9mm.html?___SID=U#.XT8_8HtOmUk

They also have the SAR CM9:  https://www.cdnnsports.com/sar-arms-cm9-gen2-9mm.html?___SID=U#.XT9AuntOmUk

+1 for CM9 Gen2.

After sights adjustment (which seems to be required step) - shoots well. I really like adjustable grips, this gun fit my medium-size hands ideally.
With short barrel and light frame it has decent accuracy and manageable recoil, however my wife prefers to shoot full size steel frame gun :)
