Very nice pistol and good shooting there. I feel that these older pistols are where most of the fun and interesting history really lies with CZs.
What you have is an uncommonly found configuration. Not only is it a safety on an alloy frame but the frame is the early unfluted alloy style that was used in the initial D Compact production in 1997. It?s difficult to see in your photo whether there?s a circular depression on the top-front of the trigger guard where the N-Lion proof is located. Almost all CZ 75 related CZUB pistols have that depression from ?81 into the 90s except, it would appear, on these frames.
Here?s a 1997 75 D Compact with a similar style alloy frame. This one is located in the Czech Republic and I was quite fortunate to be able to shoot this like new specimen last year. Thanks for sharing your pistol with the forum.
