czc shadow2 bull
« on: April 15, 2019, 08:22:12 AM »
does anyone have a  tip or special technique for retaining the recoil    s pring in this model. also goes for the eventual changing of the recoil spring.

I LOVE  this  gun  but cannot figure out why they placed the recoil spring retention hole so far up on the recoil sprig  guide rod.  my surgically repaired hand  cannot muster enough power to  compress the spring THAT  far to retain the compressed spring properly.

cannot find any youtube videos on this yet.

czc rep feel free to chime in

A thought.  I noticed that the takedown pin is easy to loose so i got a bunch.  Part number is 10920 and they're $0.50 each.  i now have one in my range bag and 10 more in my toolbox.

In the video Angus mentions you can make your own. I'm guessing from a paperclip.

better use something tougher. some use an adjusted ( for length and width) allnb wrench.  I have  had paperclips cause a lot of  problems in other  guns. just saying
