A steel framed P01 can be stripped and nickel plated, but it can never be converted to stainless steel. I would be very unhappy, just my opinion.
I'd tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine. Pathetic, really.

As for anyone who is unhappy with their Polished P01 and actually OWNS one, I?d be happy to give a second one a good home. Feel free to contact me.
You in south-western Ohio give or take? Your story about 2 of 3 P01 shiny pistols seems to line up nicely with my 1 of 3 local pistols from the same shop.....lol
Just curious.
Picked up a polished 75B this week. The finish on the P01, from a smoothness and luster perspective, is far smoother and more ?polished.?
Personally I don?t really care what was done for this limited production piece. Anyone who hasn?t seen one in the flesh?s opinion doesn?t quite seem valid to me either. They are beautiful pistols and fine shooters.
Couldn?t agree more. 100%. And I too have a polished 75, the P01 makes it look dull by comparison. It?s an absolutely gorgeous weapon, with a beautiful finish. I?m a big fan of mine. It?s very high on my list for overall favorite pistol, behind only my TSO perhaps.
And don?t mind Stojanovich. He just likes saying ?electro-penciled?, ?Khyber Pass?, and getting his underwear in a bunch when a public company makes something he doesn?t 100% agree with or like. That must be exhausting. Otherwise, he?s a good guy, with pretty good taste, and some nice CZ?s.
As for me, I love mine. I?m glad they made them. And glad I have one. To each their own.
Enjoy your polished pair! I know I will mine. Even though I have a pair of Shadows and a 97, I personally wouldn?t mind a Maria Gushchina edition Shadow 2 (high Polished steel frame) and a polished 97 someday.

Me likes the shiny.
