stainless steels which can be hardened are generally magnetic (so expect stainless steel knives and firearms to be magnetic)

I find all CZs to be magnetic, they gravitate towards my safe and take up residents.  8)

I am glad this thread got bumped though it was a fun read.  ;D
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

That's a lot of money for a nickel plated P01.

CZ admitted they mislabeled this handgun as stainless.  It is nickel plated.

Yep...and the plating was poorly done at that.

Here's another one on Gunbroker, this one has a nifty serial number as well - C422500:

I love my 99021 but these are not $1700 guns, even if nickel plated.  If it were actually stainless, I might drop that money on one though just because a brushed stainless handgun is something that I really like.

Not the gun in the OP. And not a bad price for a stainless 75 since they have been discontinued.

I doubt that is what the gun will sell for.  There is no "Buy It Now" option, so the final selling price is likely to be considerably higher than the current bid ($1,104), as there is still more than a day to go on that auction.

Most, but not all, forms of stainless steel are magnetic.  My 91197 looks to be stainless. I have some CZs on display behind and next to my desk all attached to the wall by magnets; two are stainless. My kitchen knives are stainless and hang on a magnetic board.
