Hi all! Here's the next installment in my series on qualification courses. In this one, I'm pitting my S&W 686 against the Nebraska Law Enforcement Handgun Qualification Course. Check out the video to see how it fares!

Once again another honest, well produced, interesting, and entertaining video - Thank you sir!

I recently acquired a 4" 586-3 and it is quickly becoming the absolute favorite of my modest "collection". I have decided to follow in your footsteps and try different qualification courses with this fine revolver but have yet to purchase a holster for it. I am leaning toward a leather pancake similar to yours.

Having just started my first HP Service Rifle season, I find myself on a rather tight budget and haven't found a quality holster that I can justify buying at the moment.

There is a good reason why S&W continued to manufacture their revolver line while the weak minds at COLT discontinued their best sellers.
My S&W 686 is an all time favorite that I shoot very often. The wheel gun will always survive.

I both agree and disagree. While it is nice to see Colt making revolvers again it is a fairly narrow margin of concealed carry buyers who want a wheel gun. The flavor of the day seems to be compact and sub compact semi-autos and even Mossberg is getting in the game with a small auto. Colt I think has been run by people who are out of touch with reality for decades now. When was the last time they brought out an entirely new gun of any kind? Not just a rehashed model like the recent Cobra.
I will say if they start making more versions of the snake guns it will drop the high value the old versions have been commanding at least maybe back to more reasonable levels.
