I have never yet seen one of these. When were they made? Do you have pictures of one you would care to share. Seems like it would take the snap right out of the .40 round.

The SP-01 Tactical was discontinued in 2017. I don't know when they started producing them.

I bought the SP-01 as a demo pistol, since people kept asking about .40 and I didn't own any. Never thought I would own a .40, since I had 9x19 and .45 ACP already. Turned out that I absolutely love the SP-01 in .40 (it is one of my favorite range pistols). Now I have more than 1 .40 cal CZ and all are discontinued models.

plus one for the sp01 in 40. Great and you can put an sp01 9mm barrel in it!

Grab one if you can ever find one. They shoot well...YMMV, but I'm more consistent/accurate with it than my 75B .40. CZ Custom can also fit a .357 sig barrel as well (made from a 9mm barrel)...haven't gone that route (yet ?).
