CZ 75b Shadowline
« on: April 28, 2019, 10:12:32 PM »
Picked this guy two weeks ago and had a few questions.
I emailed CZCustoms numerous times with no reply.

First, the SKU number is not on the case, is there a another way to find it?
Second, what are the spring weights ?
And third, it came with another mainspring in a baggie, how can i determine the weight of it?
Is it normal for them to come with an extra spring?

That is a CZ 75 compact shadowline, 91167.
Not a "b" as it has no firing pin block.
No idea about the extra spring

It appears that you have one of the relatively rare CZ 75 Shadowline Compacts. These were imported into the US in very small numbers a year or two ago. Originally a small group of 50 was imported and these immediately sold out with many appearing later on Gunbroker at inflated prices.  Later on another group made it's way to the US. I've heard numbers of about 150 or so, but I really don't have any definite information as to how many were in that second batch.  I was lucky enough to get one.

I can help you with the SKU number, it's #91167, but unfortunately don't have the spring specs. On many of the pistols that are used in competition, it's not uncommon for CZ to include an assortment of springs to help in customizing the trigger feel to the needs of the individual.

For more information I would contact CZ-USA. By giving them your serial number, they can tell you the specifics that you want to know. Here also is a link to previous discussions in the CZ forum about the Shadowline compact.     https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=94284.0

Here are some links to articles and past listings for the Shadowline Compact, as well as a youtube video. You're lucky to have found one, they're great little pistols.

Sorry, but I don't know the spring specs. I would call CZ USA. They should be able to answer your questions.
