wifes new Rami bd
« on: May 02, 2019, 02:18:20 PM »
After installing the CGW old style trigger and ultra-lite kit my wife's new rami bd ran outstanding today.  We fired 250 rounds of my reloads with no trigger bite or problems she is pleased. The only thing I might want to adjust is it's ejection pattern most of it's brass went foreword of the firing line.

I'm thinking about getting the pro-package for my new rami.  I'm real happy with the rami so far.  Only one trip to the range but it shot great.  da pull is heavy and with my small hands I can barely reach the trigger in da mode.  I think the pro-package will take care of both problems.

My Rami is a BD with the pro package but my wife liked hers right out of the box except for the trigger bite. So hers got the old style trigger and a ultra-lite kit just to slick it up a little. The next time I order parts from CGW I'm getting a sear cage slave pin and old style triggers for my Rami and 97bd.

Welcome home brother and thank you for your service!  240th ahc?  That sounds familiar.  Were they in the III corps area?  I was with the 199th Lt Infantry out of Long Bien.  We called in cobra gun ships to support us more than once.  I was always happy to see those guys flying around over my head.  The bad guys usually got the hell out of there when the cobra's showed up.

Theoldmusicman  When I was first in country I was in the 135th AHC a mixed US Army Australian Navy unit then later I was infused into the 240th AHC.  The 135th ended up at Blackhorse and the 240th was at Bearcat. The 240th's gunships were easy to spot with mad dog bull dog nose art and our slicks had gray hounds on the side like on a gray hound bus.
