Picked up my first CZ firearm yesterday: CZ 527 Varmint .223, heavy barrel. Have scope but had to order rings, made by Warne. Planning on doing the barrel break-in pretty soon; we're having a lot of rain this week in NorthEast Texas so I'll wait for things to dry out a bit before heading to the range. Did a bit of predator calling as a teenager growing up in Mississippi, lot of squirrel hunting, lot of fishing. Retired recently and now am ready to have some serious fun shooting again. Have other guns but have had my eye on the CZ repertoire for some time. -- Gandalf
