75B Compact L with No Accessory Rail
« on: May 11, 2019, 07:14:19 AM »
Found one online, bought it, but can't seem to find much information it it.
The dust cover goes all the way to the front.   Could it have been that the rail was milled off?  Were any made this way?

I had a Compact L so I"m familiar with them and do not recall that something like this was offered, from the factory.

I'd say it is a pretty good guess that it was modified later?

That's what I'm leaning towards.  The closest thing I found to an answer so far was a member posting this "I recently purchased a compact L, manual safety, but without the accessory rail. Does anybody know a good IWB holster that would fit my pistol? If there are multiple options, whether for this pistol or for another model that would also fit mine, which would you suggest for appendix carry?" Here in 2014.

Same member also posted this....

"I'm new to CZ. I ordered a custom shop CZ 75 compact L with a manual safety, non-railed. Thanks to Angus for answering all my questions and steering me towards a set of VZ grips. Can't wait to shoot it."

Looks great and makes it even lighter and more concealable ,whoever did it,knew what he was doing,I?m pretty sure most of us have no use for the light rail anyway.

Unfortunately where I live, I can only conceal it on my car to the range, and then back home.

I really like the look though, kind of like an Atrox.

Is it ambidextrous? I mean safety. There is no right side image.

It is not.  I have confirmed with Stuart over at CZ.  This is a Compact L with No Rail.  Not many, but they were made like this.  Very happy with my purchase. :)

Nice find!  I wasn't aware that they were made in that configuration.  I have SKU 91724 and it has a rail.  What is the SKU number on the box?  Hope you're as happy with yours as I am with mine.

I still don't have it in hand and Unfortunately it didnt come with a box.   I sent the serial over to Stuart and this is what he told me "pistol was built and sold April 2014 as a non- railed Compact L."

This was definitely a nice surprise!  I didn't even notice the lack of a rail when I purchased it.  Now I need a Shadow Line Compact with a rail in the collection.
