I played with some 59s and 5906s which is the same size as 4006. Very slightly bigger all around than a P07. S&W slide is thinner but grip is thicker.

Thanks for the reply, that means if it's slightly bigger than a p07 and it's right in between the 07 and 09. Thank you

I was just thinking if the grip is thicker I just might like it. I change the grip on my AR pistol to an ergo grip which is much thicker and I like it. And besides that it's only a half pound heavier than my po9 ,this might be my new EDC, I'll have to see how it shoots.
I'm getting anxious to get that email from copper so I can order it and get it in my hands.
Can anybody compare 4006 TSW to the po9?

I found these pics of P09 and 5906 (pretty sure its the exact same slide/frame size as the 4006, they share grip panel and most small parts).
It's closer to P-07 than P-09. It's 6-7 oz heavier than the P-09 but you will definitely feel that.

Hey gang, well I finally got my
S&W 4006 TSW CHP.
The only word that comes to mind is WOW !!
Mark at Summitgunbrokers was great, quick shipping. The condition I thought was terrific, almost no scratches and they were minor.
A few shiny wear marks but nothing significant.
The grip was a mess on the right hand side as stated in many treads. Inside of the pistol shows very little wear from what I can see, not many shiny holster marks on the dust cover,  in my opinion extremely clean inside.
The double action and single action triggers are terrific, smooth no stacking, SA breaks like glass.
Using the disassembly reassembly videos from blubelly2 , I completely disassembled polished important parts including all metal-to-metal contact points.
as recieve.
DA 11.6#-SA 6.10#
After: DA 10.9#- SA 6.2#. And soooooo smooth.
This S&W fits like a glove in my hand. Instead of changing out the grip, I decided to stipple it , because I need an aggressive grip with my sweaty hands. Turned out pretty good.
All in all I'm extremely pleased with this and plan on making it my EDC . I can't believe I just wrote that, but it just feels so much more robust in my hand and just as comfortable as my P09. It's a little bit heavier but nothing that's drawing my attention to it.
