Recurve Trigger Mod
« on: May 15, 2019, 08:49:54 PM »
Since I have a couple of recurve triggers laying around, I decided to straighten one out and try it on my CZ 75 Compact.

I heated up the bottom half of the trigger and straightened it out on a vice.  It took about 20 minutes and turned out OK.  I will need to trim about 1/8" from the bottom of the trigger to clear the trigger guard and then dress it up.

I did the same thing for my shadow 2 last year. I also drilled and tap holes for a pretravel and overtravel screw.

Stock shadow 2 trigger (left) and modified recurve trigger with pretravel screw on right

Cool George16.  Are the tapped holes 3/32 or 7/64?

I think the ones included with CGW's trigger are:

M3-0.5 x 3mm
M3-0.5 x 4mm

I also have CZC C85 triggers without pre-travel adjustment.  May tap those when I get a chance.
