Barrel swap options for 455 training rifle?

I have a 455 Training rifle in 22LR - this one: https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-455-training-rifle/

It has the long, skinny barrel with iron sites.  I'd like to swap out the barrel for either .17HMR or .22 Mag (I haven't decided which) and its not clear to me what my options are, given that I'm starting with a skinny barreled gun.  I'm under the impression I should not put a varmint barrel on as it would be too large diameter for the existing stock.  Is that correct?

So what exactly are my options?

I would call CZ USA and ask them  They will steer you in the right direction and they have been very nice people to talk to.
