New PCR
« on: May 20, 2019, 02:38:17 PM »
Got the new PCR to the range today. Went through about 330 rds of 115 and 124 FMJ. I was very impressed. It is very soft shooting and accurate. Definitely glad I got it. I'm going to need more magazines.

Congratulations on the PCR. I wouldn't part with mine.

I just ordered a P01 slide stop from CGW. It will allow me a little better thumb placement with my support hand.

Got another 114 FMJ through it today with the new P01 slide stop. Definitely an improvement. I also got to try out flush fitting 14 rd mags. The little protrusion of the metal baseplate allows me a really hooked in grip. Even better than the newer 15 rd mags.

Did you get it yet? I'm curious about how far the slide stop pin sticks out of the right side, and if it works as intended.

It protrudes only about 1/16th of an inch. Almost flush. It functioned perfectly through 114 rds so far. It allows me to position my support hand thumb where I couldn't with the original.

If you have a smart phone, the Tapatalk app lets you post directly from your phone?s photo library. The simplest method. It?s also an easy way to add and browse the Forum posts.
