Using safety lever with decocker

Is there any problems with using the right side safety lever with the left decocker P09/P07? 

I'm slimming the right lever and I'd rather attempt it with the right safety lever before I try with the right decocker lever

No sir, it is not possible. You can not mix them due to several factors of the design.

Edit: Corrected in Reply #5, OP wants to use the right side safety lever while retaining decocker function only.

Indeed, i was talking about the P series, i should have stated that. Unfortunately it is not possible. The two mechanisms do not operate the same way.

I dunno maaaaannn... The slot where the decocker bar goes in for the right side lever looks the same for the safety lever and the decocker lever. I'ma try it! [emoji4]

Edit - I just want the lever attached.  I don't want the safety mechanism in combination with the decocker mechanism. I might have worded it wrong

^^ Ahh i see, i misunderstood you. I just tried it on my P-09 and it seams to work. While i can not say if any issues will pop up with use i do not see anything obvious.
