New RAMI BD...Bye Bye G43!
« on: May 25, 2019, 12:01:23 PM »
I'm a hammer fired DA/SA guy and have been looking for a RAMI BD for a while now and finally was able to put my hands on one yesterday. Sold my G43 to a buddy of mine yesterday as well. I couldn't resist and stopped by the range after work and ran 100 rounds through her. Ran like a top, no issues at all. Awesome pistol!

Welcome for the great state of Texas!   Glad you're enjoying your new Rami!   I've had my new Rami for about a month.  Still less than 500 round through it but except for one FTF it's been perfect.  The Rami is my first da/sa pistol so I'm still getting use to that.  It's a beautiful gun, I love the hammer fired 1911 style pistols.  Feels great in the hand although the trigger does start to hurt my finger after shooting it for awhile.  I plan on installing the CGW Pro package sometime in the next few months which has the old style trigger, and the package also reduces the pull weight in both da and sa modes.

My wife and I both have Rami BD's mine has the Pro pkg. she liked hers the way it came except for she was getting trigger bite. I replaced her trigger with the old style trigger and while it was apart installed the ultra lite kit hers now has a much better and lighter DA than mine. If you do any of your own upgrades use a slave pin when you take it apart the BD has a lot of small parts to line up. I made up a few new cuss words the first time I put mine back together.

My second CZ I owned was a RAMI BD 9mm. I loved shooting it and was amazed at how well it handled with how small it was. The only issue I had was the DA trigger reach was too long for me. I ended up selling it off. Then I got more into CZ weapons and found out about CGW and their RRK. I think I may give the Rami another go now.
