I would have taken the Ruger too.  I'm giving Ruger more and more respect after buying a PCC and seeing how much thought and quality they put into it.

I picked up a Ruger GP100-6 almost a year ago now. The bluing is flawless, the cylinder is tight, the trigger is wonderful, and the sights were dead-on right out of the box. I have never done anything but shoot and clean the gun.

The SIGs and Wilson Combats of the world need to be very afraid. It's much easier for the Rugers and CZs of the world to steadily raise their quality and maintain a low price, than it is for the high-end boys to make changes that justify their significant prices.

 ;)

Agreed ;)

I saw them for $349.00 shipped at gunbuyer.com and was getting ready to buy one. I noticed they had another one with the same description for $427.00 shipped. Since this is my first P-10C I did some research and found out the one for $349.00 was the older discontinued 91520 model. Since I wasnt up to speed on one vs the other I decided to go with the 91531 newer model. Still a pretty good deal for $427.00 shipped. Hopefully I made the right choice. Ive since seen some people saying they like the older version better. I think I would prefer the reversible mag catch personally but getting a new CZ for $349.00 would have been nice. They since raised the price of the older model to $399.00. They have a killer price on the suppressor ready version though still.

I bought the older model and like it, but it's my first CZ and I had no concerns about being able to swap mags with another model.  I think they acted too quickly in making a change based on early complaints of tight mag releases, but maybe there was more to it than that.  Both my mag release and slide lock have gotten smoother with use.

Yeah, I was surprised they just made a change like that without more info about it on the net. Now I?m hearing they may have some mag comparability with the older model which would really suck.
Prices are so crazy low right now though. Gunbuyer had the Walther PPQ M2 in 9mm for $409.00 and the P-10C for $349.00 both free 2 day shipping. These are the good ol days we will talk about in the future so when I see a good deal on something I?ve been wanting I go for it

I'm new here and I just brought a cz p10c suppressor ready model build November 2018. I did not know there was a newer version of the gun. Mine is ambidextrous everything, is this more diserable? What changes did they make? I noticed mine the mag release is kind of stiff compared to other guns I own, and the slide stop is super hard, unless I grab it from both sides, will this get better over time? The texture on slide serrations, mag release and slide stop is also very sharp will this get better over time?

Some like the new model without the bi-lateral mag release better because it?s easier to activate.  I purposefully bought the old style as I prefer that and it works just fine especially when the mag is empty and slide is back. And yes it gets better with time.

The slide serrations etc won?t get less sharp over time; however , I also think that?s a good thing as I like them that way.  I?d rather have it easy to rack than the opposite.

Anyone, you did just fine.  It?s a fine weapon that you have there.

If you're in the market, out on GunBroker, you can potentially get an even better deal on the 91520.

Yea some great prices on all kinds of items! I have been looking over @ https://www.bigdaddyunlimited.com/bdu-member-portal & he has P10C for $349. I joined up a month or so ago and they have some great prices on a lot of items, some are pretty much normal prices that you can be found out on the net so do your research, LOL. It's $9.99 a month so you need to justify and buy a fair amount of items through the year to come out ahead! I will probably "cancel" my Membership in a while but have scored some good deals on RMRs and a few other items.
Anyways the P10 is an FDE Model with 10rd mags which I need (NY) & I didn't think that price was too bad, what do you guys think? The Stock picture shows the gun and a 16 on the slide. The model is described like this:CZ P-10Semi-Auto compact Semi Auto Pistol 01521 The SKU is: 806703015217-BH which that could just be a reference for the website,I don't know. I left a link above but you can't see anything or prices unless you join/sign up. It's .99 cents for the 1st month then it goes up, for somethings, I think its worth it other you need to figure that out for yourself I guess. They have 291 in stock,do any of those numbers tell you guys that know anything? I wouldn't be that disappointed with an early one I have a bunch of the early mags cus they were cheaper than the 07 mags so I bought like 10 of them,LOL Let me know what ya think guys! I'm really on the fence about it cuz they have the OD Green 07 for $449.99,I want another 07 as a backup,I want the P10 just because,LOL Thanks for any help or ideals!

Thank you photog22740!  The model that Buds is selling is the TRUE ambidextrous magazine release.  I hoped that I would find one before they disappeared.

Are these discontinued models? I was under the impression these had a tendency to be problematic?

Yes this is the discontinued model.

Knock on wood, I've never had to repair anything on my first P-10C.  It is completely "stock" with about 5-6K or more through it.

What you might be referring to was the Magazine release being very stiff until it wore in, and a few issues with the firing pin "clocking".  If there are others, I'm not remembering them.  My second P-10C has a 2018 date, the first has a 2017 date.

Perhaps someone could help me out if there were other problems with the 2018 P-10C with AMBI mag release.
There are no other issues with the 2018 P-10C pistol if, the back plate has the notch at 3pm you are good to go meaning, Pistol has the latest upgrades done to it!Hope this helps, M
