I love the idea of a drum, but they are just plain silly with what they cost. Don't get me wrong, I want one, I just cannot justify the difference in cost.

Received mine today and it is a pain to load compared to other drum mags I have. I will hopefully test it out tomorrow.

Just curious if you have had a chance to test out your drum?

I did. It was tough to insert on a closed bolt, but did so with a little force and ran flawlessly through the 50 rounds. It is such a pain to load that I did not reload it at the range, but it is now reloaded for the next range trip.

Thanks for the report !

Fwiw , I have several f5 and xproducts drums in 5.56 and yes they are slow to load , once you get a rhythm there not that bad . The fact that there all milled aluminum makes them a way better choice then.the magpul drums , IMHO
