Would you buy a Pink framed EAA Witness compact?

EAA Witness Compact 9mm

I have the chance to get a used one (looks to be barely shot if at all) - but is the PINK framed one :P  now cash price for it is about $225-250 (guessing because of the color) - but I have an old Browning Buckmark Lite (that I don't shoot anymore and is well used) that I probably can trade straight up for it.

Yes I could get it cerakoted - but that just raises the price and then I could buy a new all black one....

Guess I could rattle can it if PINK is just too much....

Would you pick one up for the price or trade I have up there even though it is PINK lol - honestly this would just be a range toy - I just think the 225-250 price range is pretty good for its condition...

Is the 225-250 price range for a barely used EAA 9mm Compact Poly worth it?

At $225, I'd probably buy it, but then look at options to change the frame color. I've heard of people using RIT dye on plastic. Maybe try to make a deranged coyote tan finish   O0

I personally would pass

They were going for that price in all colors a little while back.  Save you money for something you really want that won't need "customizing".

If you want something to play with then ok.  But I have bought CZs for $400ish and generally buy guns for $300ish.  There are deals out there but I don't see myself buying a pink gun.

No shame if you do buy it though.  Overall, its your choice...  and your money...

What TrippleP said! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

A new all Black one would make a nice CCW!  8)  :)

You sound like you're buying a 'price'.  At the higher end of your estimate might you consider a new  black SAR B6C 9mm.

Don't underestimate what you can do with RIT synthetic dye. The one in the middle use to be pink....

I used RIT dye on a blue(purple?) poly frame Witness compact: https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=88038.msg662756#msg662756

It's been over two years since doing it and the frame still looks great.

Awesome job!  I ended up passing on it and used the money towards a new to me CZ 40B https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=105093.0

I am wanting to hear from those with EAA in 10mm - have a post asking but no one has bit yet - I might just have to get it :P
