Does anyone have the SKU numbers for the deairable, old magazines and the number for the new, don't-fit-quite-right mags?

Not sure on the numbers as I searched high and low and couldn't find a single original P-07 mag anyplace. The new P-07/P10C mags are easily identified by the red follower though.

Thanks.

Dimple on both sides of the 10 rounders, certainly seems like hardened steel in its ability to smoke cheap bits. Also have to remove over an inch of tightly coiled spring to allow 15 rounds to fit. Might have to cut one more coil, as with 15 loaded the mag won't seat in the pistol. Going to leave it loaded for a few days first to see if the tension drops enough.

WOW - wish I saw this before I ordered.  But I might just switch bases with a P-10C mag, and use them as range mags.  BUT, it would be a pleasure to liberate a poor 10 round mag to normal capacity!

Better bits might help a good deal. And the spring cut was a few seconds with a dremel. It wasn't as easy as I'd hoped, but not really problematic to at least get 14 round capacity. And I could still throw +2 bases on that.

Quality bits are a must have if you're drilling ANY metal. This falls squarely in the "right tool for the job" classification. Run the bit slowly and use cutting fluid.

Yeah, I was really hoping this was going to be some simple stamped mild steel that these cheap HSS bits could run through quickly. Even with use of a lube, the cutting was going nowhere slow, relative to the stock thickness. If I had some cobalt bits with better red hardness than those throwaway moly bits, they may have held up at the tip.

So you can only get 14 rounds in?

Again, I may just swap bases and use for range mags

Is it legal to alter a dedicated 10 round mag to a higher capacity?

Yeah if you live in America where there's no capacity restriction. If you live in restricted America then no.

Saw this while looking at AR15 parts (just popped up at the bottom of the page in the other customers bought stuff):

Midway has P07 (CZ magazines not copies) for the .40 S&W P07's on sale for about $20 each while supplies last.  These are supposed to be the 12 round type.

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I'm going to buy some of the +2 base plates and put them on the P-10C/P-07 magazines.

Since the +2 base plates don't fit as well as the OEM P-07 Mag base plates, I won't be messing up my Original P-07 magazines.

BEWARE:  The link in this thread to P07 10 rounders is for a sloppy supply of both P07 and P10C 10 rounders!!!! So, you are buying P10Cs with the WRONG base in many cases.  Don't buy!!!

Of course the larger issue is that CZ looks to be in non support of a product.
