For me it is kind of a big deal. I bought a couple of P10-C magazines, and yes they do function just fine and seem identical other than the base pads, but I have pinched a blood blister on my dominant hand pinky finger a few times when seating those mags, because of the way the front edge juts out like that. I was using them as my range / practice magazines and had it happen at the range and at home. My carry mags and some of my other spares are real P-07 magazines and I never had that problem with them. I replaced the P10-C base pads with some UTG +0 aluminum ones for range usage, but they are too bulky to carry with. So now I have to guard and protect my collection of genuine CZ P-07 plastic base pads like some rare item, which seems pretty silly. I also got some extra P-07 +2 bases on clearance from CZ-USA before they disappear forever.
