PCR upgrades for carry

Picked up a PCR with intent for ccw.  It shoots nicely (blew a mix of 400 rounds through it - perfect function) and the accuracy I wanted is there.  Trigger bite is awful, so I need to address that.  What else should I consider while I work on the trigger issue.  Will also be replacing the sights with something better.

I wouldn’t mind lightening both trigger pulls a bit, but still want a 7 lb DA or so for carry.

Congrats.  Good choice. TRuGlo sights, Lok flat grips, CGW Defensive Carry Package and polishing of internals and trigger group.  That’s what I did with my PCR. DA 8lb 11oz, SA 3lb 8 oz.

I was in the same boat with my newly acquired stock PCR and did the same upgrades you are thinking about. installed the three piece spring kit/14lb recoil spring/ and the 75585 trigger [for that godaweful bite] all from CGW. CZC has some fantastic sights for the PCR. I chose the short tactical rear and picked up a mepro front. all of these together made a world of difference

If you haven't, go ahead and look into the CGW kits to get an idea of the various pins and springs that are commonly upgraded. If they do the work (my personal route, lots of little parts) or you do it yourself there are some preferences you can choose that will make your PCR "just right". There are also some nice sight options available through CGW. As has been mentioned CZ Custom also has a good variety of parts available. If you read up on the custom PCRs they sometimes have available you'll get an idea of all the little pieces that get the hop shop treatment.

I have an SP-01 Tac into CGW for a pro kit install. Want to see if that is as good as reputed before I buy a kit for the D compact.  I have palm swell bogies coming for the compact too. 

Thanks for the info on sights too, that a real need considering the stock units.  I have TFX Pros on a 19 and quite like them.  Am interested in the CZC option above too.  Anyone have both that can compare?
