The Omega system is a cheaper to manufacture and more easily serviced fire control group,  It employs a single trigger bar, like the SIG, rather than a double bar system like the 75 series.  Because of this, the 75 system CAN be made even smoother and more consistent, but the Omega CAN be very smooth.

The Omega is easy to access and can be taken DOWN with only a punch.  It can be taken down and parts replaced and put back together VERY rapidly.  However, to get the decocker spring back in, I need a watch repair tool to get the little spring end in easily. 

OTB, the SA on the Omega is usually better then the 75 series, and the DA MIGHT be quite good.

You CAN polish and tune the Omega system well, but it takes some experience and practice.  You CAN by them in person excellent OTB, and they are VERY easy to polish and tune to perfection.  Lots of posts about this.

I have a 75B and three P-series guns.  I like the Omega system better.  Keep in mind, the Omega system is easier to tune in my opinion.  My 75B is mostly stock, other than a little light sear polishing.

My P07 has a very good trigger, as yet unmodified. However I read various perspectives on this. Some, like me get great ones, some don’t.

The trigger in my P-07 wasn’t very good at all OTB, but I fully realized it was luck of the draw.  It was gritty and stacking at the same time. A few hours of polishing and a few Cajun goodies and it’s flat-out awesome now.  I am still playing with the hammer spring combo to walk the fine line between “carry” status and fun “target” shooting. 

My CZs are making the rest of the collection sit in the safe and pout. LOL

I love a good hijacking almost as much as a good P07.

Let me summarize:

The P07 is the right grip length to just plain rock your hand into place.

The sights are so well regulated they hit on at any range form 3 to 15 yards and beyond.

The gun may snap a bit, but absolutely bounces back on target for easy follow ups, and it shoots softer than a steel compact.

It is VERy accurate.

I don't remember a malfunction with my P guns.

And yes, they are VERY EASY to work on yourself. 

Someone just needs to make a rear ledge sight with a large slot, and a nice big front dot with trit center.

Adding a Trijicon RMR will give you a nice large rear sight.  lol

While CZ sight options are better than say... 5 years ago, they ought to improve.

I absolutely love my PO7's. I bought my first in late 2017 and now I own 5. 4 are 9mm in different configurations and 1 in 40 S&W. Oh... and a Kadet kit. I've got to move on. I'm thinking a SP-O1 or Shadow. But then again, there are always more 1911's and AR's to buy.
