CZ75B Sights
« on: July 15, 2019, 08:35:29 PM »
I need a set of plain black sights for my CZ75B that have a higher profile than the factory...old eyes I guess. I emailed CZ Custom but they didn’t reply. ANy suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Marty

Those tiny dot sights kinda suck on my 75BD ... I ended up painting white dots on the rear and used orange fluorescent paint for the front sight.   Covered both with clear nail polish ... 500 rounds later they are holding up.  Works great for my older eyes.

I believe Dawson sells blacked out front and rears for not too much money.

I will second the Dawson Precision.  But you do have a variety of options available.

You can also look here:  https://czcustom.com/cz-parts-all/front-and-rear-sights/cz-rear-sights-all/cz-75-85-p01-rear-sights.html

Those sights and dots are small.I ended up blackening out the two rear dots and brightening the white front dot.

I wear my glasses.  I can't even see a black front sight without them.

Big reason for the RMR's on the P07 and P09 - without my glasses I can still see a fuzzy amber dot out there on the target.  With the glasses it's a nice sharp dot.  But you still don't really look at the dot, you look at the target and let your eyes, mind, hands/arms put the dot on the target.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I highly recommend these:

https://cajungunworks.com/product/320-221-trijicon-night-sights/

https://cajungunworks.com/product/ml-17775-mepro-lite-nite-sights/

I installed the Trijicons on my CZ-75B 40S&W while installing the Meprolights on my CZ-75B 9mm. Bot are leagues above the stock sights (which would be ok if they were tritium or fiber). The problem I had with the stock sights is not their size, but rather their brightness levels; they were too dim for my liking while shooting indoors. Outdoors they were fine though. I do have my original CZ-75B slide with stock sights still (the frame is used to mount my Kadet 2).

The 40S&W (Trijicons) is on the left while the 9mm is on the right (Meprolights)......

My CZ-75s in 22LR, 9mm, and 40S&W.....

The Trijicons offer a smaller, brighter, more focused glow while the Meprolights are bigger, more diffused, and slightly dimmer. I like them both, and recommend the Meprolights if you want to stay with OEM (at least I believe they are) CZ sights (the sights on my SP-01 FDE are pretty much the same Meprolights as the ones I installed on my CZ-75B).
My CZs:
CZ-75B
Kadet II
CZ-75B .40
SP-01 FDE
CZ-75B CWE
CZ-97B
