Barrel swap?
« on: July 19, 2019, 12:48:26 PM »
So, I have both the PCR and the P-01 in Urban grey.  Are there any issues with a barrel swap on occasion?  I know with aftermarket threaded barrels we read "some adjustments" may have to be made.  Is that the case with factory barrels?  Not that this is something I'd do much, just pondered carrying the P-01 and not wanting the longer barrel.  Or a temporary mod to the PCR.  Crazy idea?  Anyone try it?

I've never tried swapping barrels between my CZ's but I know my PCR has a loaded chamber indicator and the rear of the chamber is flat. My 75B series guns without the LCI have a tang at the rear of the chamber.

Hmmm.  Think there are any clearance issues there?  Meant to look over the weekend, but spent time shooting them instead!

Google can be helpful.  Here is an amateur installation, and I suspect that if you go slow, NOT hard to do.  Note he is installing a new barrel on a gun made decades ago.  Installing a new barrel on a fairly new gun may be easier.
