Chrome plating?
«

I'm considering one of the old CZ's as my first and only MilSurp gun. The chrome plated specimens look beautiful, especially with wood grips.
Is chrome plating an expensive modification? and how does it effect the MilSurp value of a gun?
thanks!

Don't know what it costs, but if you do chrome plate, do it for your own enjoyment. You probably won't hurt the resale value, but you won't increase it, and you certainly will never break even

NeedCZ pretty much sums up the current state of the CZ mil-surp market. There’s not a lot of high value in these, just loads of enjoyment and some tinkering.
