Beautiful. Now that I see them put together I wish I would have sent my frame in for the checkering for the build I'm doing. For the Bull Shadow slide to fit on the SA frame did you have to get the dust cover milled so the slide would fit? After I get the TS slide back from Precision and finish that build I've been thinking about putting a Bull Shadow top end on a SA frame. Again love your work and if you happen to have a extra BS top end with adjustable rear sight let me know  ;)

Awesome group!
Is the lower right one on a SP-01 frame? I almost fitted my slide to my SP-01 as opposed to the 75.
total drool... props!
Yes, they are SP01 Frames. They only needed minor amount of material removal from the dustcover to work with the Bull Shadows.

Yes, the SA dustcover required milling for the Bull Shadow slides to fit.

I wish I had a few more BS slides as well. [emoji6]

Dust Cover requires milling = FALSE!!!

I did mine with dykem and hand files - a sharpie and sandpaper. I would have used a mill if I trusted the local gunsmiths, but that's apparently not a thing around here (north AL)...
I think I even posted pictures of the process somewhere...

I only needed lapping compound to fit a Bull Shadow slide to a frame.

Himurax13......   You just said you wish you had more BS slides. I also agree with that statement....😎

What you should/need to try is the “Compact Bull” slide also. I just got one of these and it’s a great shooter!
I have 2 Bull Shadows based on the full sized 75 SA frames. So I can put this Compact size Bull slide on either .   As the normal BS slide goes the Compact Bull slide is a non FPB slide also.

ThaiJJ - your work is drooolworthy...

I do have a follow up question: is your chamber shorter/tighter COAL than normal. I found this with mine and have to seat hollow points a bit shorter than my others. This sometimes causes jams due to the HP design (RMR 125s). I recently tried Berrys RN 115 and they run GREAT! I'm out of those now and hard to find locally so I'm considering getting a barrel reamer and lengthen it a bit to match my other chambers. Besides the RMRs I have left I also have some 124 PDs (like gold right now) that should also run better, though I haven't tested a lot with them. I had my other barrels reamed to load long(mag len - a tad bit more for clearance) and pack powder for open major. Not gonna shoot that with this rig, but I think a longer chamber would help the HPs feed a tad better.

thoughts/inputs welcomed?

Thanks man!

Semi-related but I had that issue on my Tanfo and sent it to Patriot Defense to have it reamed again. Now it eats everything

I was heading for that route until the cost of base CZ pistols reached ridiculous amounts.

With the Single Action Frame it is necessary. It was said that .5mm was needed to be removed from the sides and bottom. I actually went to 1mm all the way around instead because the slides kept contacting. I lightly polished the area up with 400 grit to even the area out. The SP01 frames I was able to do by hand rather easily.

There is nothing stopping you from filing/sanding the S/A dustcover area but the chances of it being done evenly, like on an end mill, on both sides and the bottom are pretty slim. If you want to risk it to save a few bucks, that's on you. I lost a Custom slide trying to be cheap a long time ago.
