Photobucket has become even worse

As everyone knows, Photobucket started charging for their Hosting Services a while back
They made it tough on those of us that resist "joining", but we've learned to work around it
Well now, they have gotten even worse
Yeah, you can post them, but they started adding their Logo over you pics
AND NOW, they'r blurring-out the pics, even the ones that have been fine here for years
It really stinks that at first they sucked us in for years with their free hosting offer
Then they offered the "option" to join or NOT
Join if you'd like more perks and storage volume
If not, then everything stayed the same
Then they blocked our pics until we learned the "work-around"
But now, if you don't pay-up, they mess with your pics

There are other photo hosting sites out there that are better than photobucket

Don't mean to appear slow or a tightwad, but what other (free) sites are members using ?

I have also been using Imgur. I do not think that they even have a pay option.

For posting on the forum, I've found Tapatalk to be easy for me.

Imgur seems to be a good choice to move to
But now when I go to Photobucket, a couple of my "Albums" (including the CZs) are blank   
The (blurred-out and Logoed) pics still show wherever they're posted, but I can't see them on the Photobucket site 
AND NOW, when I copy any of the picture, to transfer them back to my Computer, they come over blurred-out and plastered with their stinking Logo   
So now I'm thinking I may have to "buy-in" to their BS for a month, just to have access to ALL my pics, just so I can transfer them out
Hoping they transfer cleanly too; not blurry and Logoed

Den, if you do sign up for a month to get access to your pictures i would prepare yourself to stop payment with you card company after a month. The way these jokers operate i would not be surprised if canceling a paid account is troublesome.

That took two cycles to get that stopped for good
Luckily I have a card that sends e-mail notification of ALL transactions and I can stop any use that is not authorized with a click of a button

I'll join this week and have a full month to open and transfer my Pics to the new Host Account
Guess it's worth five bucks to retrieve MY property from those holding them hostage

The big hassle will be going thru all of my Posts, on all of my Forums and replace all the Image Links
That'll suck on several levels

OK, so I go onto Rip-off Bucket to sign-up for the month and the lowest ($4.99) plan can NOT be selected, you gotta go with either the $6.99 or $11.99 plan
The $4.99 plan is a "Come-on"
This is really getting to be ridiculous with these guys
If you go to Photobucket, you find this:

Another vote for Imgur. I delete all of my Photobucket pics from their site as well. They are totally unusable these days.

IMGUR here as well....... I figure they too will eventually start charging for the service (they have already limited some of the free features on the site).

I gave up on photbucket years ago. They had so many pop ups and ads that the page would not even load for me half the time. IMGUR has been good to go for me.......so far.

   At least they are consistent.  While i like to make an effort not to judge industries that i do not have personal experience in too harshly, Photobucket has manged to make the entire internet hate them. I can not think of another example of a company that has thwarted shared knowledge on web forums more so than they have with their decisions.

   They could have asked for voluntary contributions to cover their hosting costs and even though i do not use their service i would have contributed to keep the existing pictures they host online.
