Getting the P09 front sight OFF - hydraulic press?

Sometimes throwing it in the freezer for an hour or two helps.  The metal of the sight shrinks a bit and can break the grip of the dovetail and any thread locking compound.

You can also use a small soldering iron, just place it in the set screw hole for a minute or two to heat it up a little.

A heat gun or a soldering iron try that if that doesn't work take it to a gunsmith.
