I looked at both, and bought a Scorpion carbine, it's alot of fun, and I would'nt sell it, but, I will say this.. In addition to being able to take it down, looking a different videos showing a detail strip of the PC carbine, I think Ruger is planning on caliber conversions down the road. The bolthead, for example is held on the bolt with two pins, and are easily removable, as is the extractor, so,I can see a possible conversion to .45acp, by simply swapping boltheads, extractors, changing recoil springs, snapping in a mag adaptor, and snapping on a barrel.. They might even offer a kit for 10mm, although I think that would a bit much for a straight blowback action, ditto for .45 super, but .45acp, 40 cal conversion kits might be possible.. And, all of these could use readily available Glock mags.
