The CGW website describes the P-01 Omega with their installed Pro kit converts it to a "world class" handgun. In my estimation, this is an accurate statement.

Anyone have a recent experience with the turnaround time at CGW?

In Feb, CGW quoted 2-4 weeks wait time until I could ship, then 8-10 for the work. I ended up sending that pistol to CZC, and had it back before CGW notified me that I could ship my pistol in if I wanted.

I could not be more pleased with the work CZC did. Side by side comparison, I believe the trigger feel is a hair better with czc.  Blasphemous I know.

For home gunsmithing, I think CGW is the way to go. Their kits are completely idiot (me) proof.

It is great to have two solid options.  Take your pick and you will be more than happy with either.

I wasn't going to have my PCR worked on but because a little arthritis in my trigger finger, I know, decided to do it. I chose CGW since I have a 97b e that is very very nice. The time I was given is a 6 week wait and 10 week turn around. I'm going for the pro package and the Dawson night sights.

Edit: time and money aren't as important to me as the finished product so that might need to be considered in your decision. Best of luck with your endeavor whatever path you choose.
