P10s holster options
« on: August 03, 2019, 12:21:05 AM »
I am looking for your guys opinions on a good holster for my CZ P10S. I purchased the Comp-Tac eV2 for it and I absolutely do not like it. Anyone on here have any experience with other holsters? I am looking to carry this pistol AIWB.

I carry my P07 in one of these. The turnaround was super quick.

I have several holsters in various styles from JM Custom Kydex and all are excellent. All his AIWB options in particular are GTG.

https://www.jmcustomkydex.com/c/CZ-Holsters.html

He has several options for quick ship products. Even if you need custom it's worth the wait, IMO.

You may want to email him to make sure the S will fit the P-10C holster (I think it should) as the extra length and foam wedge actually aid in preventing the grip from tilting outward. May take some experimenting on wedge placement, but I've found that, for me, positioning the bottom of the wedge even with the muzzle seems to work best.

Awesome thank you for the input. Do you like the wedge? I have a Desantis AIWB holster for my Sig 365 and I love that one it does not have the wedge and its extremely comfortable but they do not offer a holster for the P10s

I didn't find the wedge comfortable immediately, but I came to prefer it after a few days of wearing it. The little bit of cushion helps comfort a slightly, but if you don't have it in the right spot the extra pressure may cause some discomfort.

You can substitute the wedge for a flat pad, but I bought some inexpensive neoprene in varying thickness and some self adhesive Velcro from Amazon to play with. I ultimately settled on the wedge. Resist the temptation to trim the wedge until you've worn it for at least a few days.

Combined with the wing claw the wedge really makes the grip of your pistol disappear. I think the Wing Claw 2.5 with pull the dot loops is my favorite configuration.

I don't recall exactly where I heard it, maybe a Phlster video, but fitting an AIWB is kind of like fitting a prothesis. Takes a bit of work, but the payoff is an extremely comfortable, concealable, and accessible rig.

Sorry for the novel. I've been working this out for a while and have lots of thoughts on it. Glad to share my experience if you have any more questions.

If you are looking at strictly appendix carry, I would look at the Tier 1 Axis Slim as it gives you a mag holder as well. My other recommendation is a Vedder Light Tuck as that can be carried whichever way you choose. Good luck!

I picked up on from a seller on ebay. It's one of the highest quality holsters I've ever owned. Fit of the gun is perfect and the holster sits as good as you can get. Also the price was nearly half what you would expect to pay.

Here is the seller.

and a picture of my p10s in the holster

I carry AIWB..  Ordered the Tier 1 Axis Slim a couple months ago and absolutely love it.  It’s actually more comfortable than all of the other holsters I’ve tried without a “side car.”  You’re paying a little more but it sure beats the 20 others I’ve tried sitting in a drawer.  They say the lead time is 10-15 business days and I received mine exactly 2 weeks after I ordered it.  The options you have to customize the holster is nice too.  Can’t say enough good things about T1C.

That seems rather bulky? You find this set up comfortable? Does it make it look like your wearing a fanny pack under your shirt? I am a skinny guy I stand 5'11'' and weigh 160 lbs. I love the idea behind having the extra mag with it Im just concerned it will stand out like a sore thumb. I sure would hate to spend 150 bucks and find out it bumps out to much. Seems like a quality product I am going to have to sleep on that one though.

If you’re looking for non bulky I highly recommend the ghost holster from www.veilsolutions.com

This one is for a p10c but it would still hold the p10s, I highly recommend an ulti clip (I use them on my other holsters as well but specifically this holster.

I can’t help specifically with an AIWB but found that my P10S fits my Glock 27 holster perfectly.  The holster is a Kramer OWB scabbard in horsehide.  My P10Cs also fit my leather/horsehide G23 holsters perfectly as well but are hit/miss with polymer holsters.  I don’t know if anyone makes a leather/horsehide AIWB holster but that could be an option to check
