I'm not saying don't do any upgrades...I like to customize my blasters too, but just ask yourself why before you do.
The P-10 is reliable out of the box. The cgw striker is a good upgrade, though.
I've never heard of a cover plate shattering before and am skeptical. Do you have a link to the thread?
A comp MAY make your gun LESS reliable, so don't just slap one on and think you're good.
IMHO, people make triggers out to be a bigger deal than they are, especially for defensive use. That being said, I found the stock trigger to be very good, just uncomfortable in that I'd get a blister on my finger somewhere between 50-100 rounds during practice. I installed an HBI with the stock springs and it doesn't bite me as bad anymore.
Good sights are critical, even with an RMR.
Beyond that, the best upgrades you can make are not hardware, but software. Get training and practice. I'm guilty of chasing the shiny new thing as much as the next guy, but trying to force myself to shift my budget to 80% training and 20% toys...just after I buy this one last thing... [emoji14]
