List of handgun/caliber used by state police of each US state

Just picked up a police trade-in SIG 229R in .357 SIG and it got me wondering what state police forces use in each of our 50 states.

I found this list on a SIG forum but the post is dated June 2015. Many .40s on the list and knowing that plenty of .40 cal police trade-ins have been hitting the Net for sale in recent years (I understand they are going back to 9mm...??) I was wondering if anyone could point me to a more current list.

Not surprisingly no CZs on the list. That is a pity IMO, wonder what exactly the reason might be for that? Only one HK, Maine.

Not sure on an updated list but I know for a fact the Ohio State Patrol no longer issues the .40 S&W. They issue the Sig P320 and P365 now in 9mm.

Texas DPS gave up on the M&P, they went to the Sig P320 in 9mm or Sig 1911s in 45ACP for Tac Response teams.

I work for Montana Highway Patrol.  We are going to 9mm, and are going through testing on the duty weapons out there.  CZ's family is difficult due to aftermarket holster support (duty holsters with lights), Simunition support and armorer support.  CZ does not have the national infrastructure of Glock, S&W or Sig; should something go wrong, it's nice to know support is close by.

That list is dated; I know South Dakota went to the P320 in 9mm, and Washington and Oregon are now in the M&P 2.0s in 9mm.

Idaho is going to 9mm.

KnightSchneider hit it spot on. I just do not think CZ USA has really focused on the LE market......yet. I think they are starting to get serious though. The Scorpion is growing in popularity with LE. As for handguns being adopted I would guess the best chance is with the P10 series. I do not prefer it, but with the move to striker fired it makes the most sense. I see one small PD on the CZ-USA web site is shown using the P10.

I also see on the CZ-USA LE/MIL page some mention of armorer's courses, but the info is dated.
