here's to hoping CZ starts selling slides and frames seperately

Glock, Sig, and HK do it.

CZ wants to be a major player and grow, they need to start making individual slides and frames available.

I want to mill a P07 and a P10 F slide for a MRD, but not alter the slides of the original pistols.

I would have left Glock a while ago if CZ sold individual slides and frames to the consumer.

I found some P10 C complete uppers thru CZ Customs, but nothing for other models, nor any individual slides.

Glock might be a little more pricey for an initial pistol purchase, but when you start running your guns, the cost of ownership for Glocks can't be beat.  (well, Sig may eventually surpass Glock, but they are just executing Glock's playbook, better than Glock)

and while I prefer the CZ P-Omega(s) and P10(s), when you really want to run a platform, you need to have these options to make your stable of hosses really work for you.

Who knows if it will happen.Really of no consequence to me either way.I doubt you'll see CZ offering frames though since unlike the Sig polymer P-series the frame of the CZ is serialized and the sale would need to go through an ffl.

So you want to buy one pistol, put on one slide with a red dot sight for Target or competition the next minute switch over to no Red Dot sight for self-defense, and be able to switch between 9 mm, 40 S&W, or 45 ACP.

Actually with the Sig P320 series you can do exactly that.

They used to sell used upper halfs. I bought a 9mm upper for my .40 p07 since the wife didn't like the .40 recoil. Slid right on and worked like a charm. Have since found a separate frame and now the 9mm is a complete gun with comp, rmr, light and extended mags.

I've picked up slides and a frame here and there for various CZ pistols in the classifieds here.  It takes a little luck, but it's possible and very worth it.

I agree that buying NEW from the factory would be my prefered method if it were available.

I picked up a full new slide for my P-10C from CZ Customs. Not sure about any of the other CZs.

Had an "oh bleep" moment at a local dealer yesterday.  I really want to know if the P10S upper with a Parker Mountain Machine (PMM) comp can be run on a P10C frame.  I called CZ USA and CZC to ask if the S upper would function on the C frame, and NEITHER of them had an answer for me.  Strange.

So, I went to my local dealer and asked to see both.  I asked if I could try it myself and they said go for it.  Well, the S slide does mount to the C frame, but the slide will not lock back and the slide catch won't catch the slide.  THEN, it was a major PITA to get the slide back off of the frame.  I don't even now what I finally did to get it off, but I was a little worried there for a minute.  I noticed that the C was of the original build, as it has the older mag release button setup.  So, I'm wondering if the S would work better on a newer C build.  Apparently CZ doesn't even know, themselves.

Then I would run my PMM-comped P10C upper on an F lower for gun games.
