How do you do it?
I lay it out on a large bath towel, fold it together lengthwise and roll the wet brass around inside. Then open it back up, spread it out to finish drying. Sometimes I set it in the sun to dry, usually in the bed of my truck(it's black). I usually clean several thousand cases at a time so I only have to do it every other month or so.

Granted I live in the arid southwest but I do just as Earl posted put on a towel and let dry on their own (usually overnight).

I know some folks use a dehydrator but I don't think that is necessary in an arid climate.  I'm not sure what I'd do if I lived somewhere humid.

Cheers,
Toby

I put them in large aluminum food trays(like caterers use) and either put them in the sun, on top of my pellet stove(over other trays as a spacer) in winter, or just put the trays on the bench with a box fan laying down on top.  Its amazing how fast they dry with constant moving air.  I usually do two trays at a time, one FART load per tray after rinsing.

I dry mine in a shell holder placed in front of the fan of my dehumidifier or if it's nice and sunny I'll pile them in an old ammo tin and set it in the back window of my car.

I lay my brass out on a towel on my workbench and leave it overnight.  It's dry the next day.  I'm too lazy to do
more than that...

Pretty much the way Earl does it -- using old towels we keep in the garage.

I once bought out a guy's reloading setup and through that, I inherited a brass dryer setup that I have come to appreciate more over the years. It's fast, easy and cheap, and I have never seen another one like it.

The heart of the system is a sieve with a 1/4 inch wire mesh, a used 1200W hair dryer, and a used 5 gal plastic bucket which you cut a hole in to hold the hairdryer.

The great thing is that you can pour the brass into the sieve for separation over your media bucket. Then take the sieve (with the brass still in it) to the dryer bucket for drying. That cuts out a lot of material handling issues.

• You can get 1/4 inch wire mesh sieves RIGHT HERE. 1/4 inch is just fine enough to capture all the brass, but still let lots of air through.

• You can get a used hair dryer at a thrift store or Goodwill for $4.

Once you have your wet brass in the sieve you simply turn on the hairdryer and allow it to run. In 10 to 15 minutes your brass is at 150°F and all the water is gone !

Large commercial aluminum cookie pans, spread out brass, set on floor in front of a fan.

I don't "wet clean" brass, but if I'm given, or pick up brass that is wet/damp,  this is how I dry it.

Stick it in an old roasting pan in the oven set to 'keep warm'

For these needs I have a special 250ml bottle with 99% isopropyl alcohol.
So, I sink 20-30 wet cases in time and then take them out, alcohol displaces water and dries out very quick - 5-10 minutes.
