Fort Scott Tumble Upon Impact (TUI) 9mm Ammo (YMMV)
« on: October 05, 2019, 01:15:54 PM »
After watching gel and other tests of the TUI ammunition, I decided it had a place in my EDC kit along with Federal HST.  Trying it first in my SP-01, it would not feed correctly. Basically, it rode up the feed ramp where each round became immediately wedged.  A 100% non-starter.

The rounds fed just fine in my Glock 26, which has looser tolerances.

My CZ P-10C likes the TUI, even with a Primary Machine match-grade barrel.

I talked extensively to the FT. Scott people at the SHOT Show this past January, and I was impressed with their ammunition.  I've got some samples of the bullets they gave me, but haven't loaded them.  I'm going to talk to them again at the SHOT Show this coming January, with particular interest in their .380 and 10mm bullets.

The videos they were showing at the show were quite impressive, particularly the one shot kill on a black bear with a .380.  That bear never knew what hit him.
