CZ 75 Compact pricing?
« on: October 16, 2019, 10:03:30 AM »
Just curious to know why the 75 Compact (SKU: 91190; MSRP: $646.00) is more expensive than the 75B Omega (SKU: 91136; MSRP: $587.00), and nearly as expensive as the 75B Urban Grey Omega (SKU: 91235; MSRP: $655)?

1. Compact guns are more wanted than full size now.
2. Price comes after people's needs. "Supply and demand" rule.

I purchased my P-01 a few months ago at the LGS for $565.  Saw them at a gun show with pre-haggling pricing at $579...

I'd accept that answer, except for the fact that the PCR and the P-01 aren't priced that way and they both are more popular than the all steel, heavier, safety version of the Compact....

If I were to hazard a guess I would say that the omega guns would both be cheaper than the traditional lock work because it is a simpler system and costs less to produce. The increased price of the urban grey omega probably has to do with the increased cost of the threaded barrel and suppressor height night sights.

Agreed with nonamehavei.
We can guess that material costs and action used in pistol give the final price.
