I sat in a parked car the other day. Didn’t drive it. Just sat there. The gas pedal was totally unresponsive. What a piece of junk!
You have to put gas in it and press the start button [emoji16]

I rented and compared a P-10C and a Walther PPQ5 Match in the same range session.  I shot both of them well, with almost the exact same results.  I liked the feel of the Walther better, but I kept shooting the P-10 quicker and quicker.  I really enjoyed shooting them, but bought neither of them.  When I got back - I bought a P-07!
Ah yes, life has so many difficult decisions [emoji23]

This wouldn’t be a problem if I had unlimited funds....

The main thing is that you get what YOU want!

However if you can't get the seat adjusted comfortably and the sight line suck (think Chevrolet Camargo) you don't take it for a test drive.

I own all 3, p10c, g19, and a 320. Selling the 320 soon, feels good in hand but my least favorite.  Considering selling the selling the g19 and will buy another p10c in optic ready.

This is why there are different guns from different manufacturers. We all have different likes and preferences. I hope you enjoy your next acquisition.

I prefer metal hammer fired guns, but have my fair share of polymer striker fired guns from Springfield Armory, Glock, Sig, S&W and CZ.  Of all of them, I prefer the CZ and the Sig 320. It has to do with how they fit my hands, my Shooting style and how quickly I can shoot them accurately.

In all honesty, think any of the polymer striker guns I mentioned can serve you well, you just need to find the one that fits you and your needs best.

Nice to have options

That's the beauty of diversity of choice - you can get what fits you to a T. P-10 doesn't do it and the SIG does? Awesome, solid choice! Whatever works for you is the most important thing.

This exactly. My range membership affords me free rentals and I've fired the P10C and the P10S as well as the Sig P320. I found the trigger and the ergos of the P10C superior to the other 2. The Sig trigger was nothing exciting and the gun felt like an unfinished wooden model in my hand. The P10S trigger was bad.
Being anti striker I wouldn't ever own any of them but having the ability to compare them after actually test driving them all is important. Were I to buy one it would be the P10C but at this point I'll be sticking with my superior hammer fired PCR.

What I find astounding is all compliments the trigger received in the videos and from the salesman. It's so far below what I consider acceptable that actually firing one would have been a waste of time and ammo for me.
Off topic of CZ's for a moment, I own a Silencerco Maxim 9. I did a lot of research before buying that gun and nearly everyone that tried one said the gun was awesome except that it had a horrible trigger. Being an NFA item, not many folks had actually gotten their paperwork through to actually take it home, so most of this experience was at the gun store dry firing or maybe even shooting if the store had a range.

So a year later, I get mine home and sure enough the trigger was terrible. It was both heavy and really gritty. I took a close look at the interaction of the parts and put a few drops of Slip 2000 at all the points where something was rubbing on something else during the trigger pull. Man, that made a huge difference. A few hundred iterations of dry fire smoothed it out even more. It turned out to be not bad at all. For whatever reason Silencerco just was assembling the parts dry. I finally did take it apart and did a little polishing and it has a nice trigger now.

I have 1911s, a S&W Performance Center Shield, old S&W Revolvers, a few CZ75s, and a wide variety of other handguns with excellent to so-so triggers. Personally I think the P10C is pretty nice for a striker gun. Could it be better? Absolutely. It is gritty on take-up, but the break is nice and I love the short reset.  And yes, I did put oil on the trigger parts.  :)

Fine choice! I'd take a P-07 over just about any striker gun out there.

When the P10C first came out, I was not enthused.  But, after handling one, it changed my mind.  It’s a solid choice for day to day carry.  The trigger IS very good compared to a G19 or some other striker fired guns.  I own both and the P10C is better.

Then again, I don’t really need to defend the P10C against the opinion of someone that simply dry fired a new gun at a gun counter and decided to slam it based on near zero experience.
I am not asking anyone to defend the P10. What I posted here were my observations of the two guns, in addition my mental comparison to my P-01.

What I find astounding is all compliments the trigger received in the videos and from the salesman. It's so far below what I consider acceptable that actually firing one would have been a waste of time and ammo for me. As far as the ergonomics go that is strictly personal preference. My P-01 for me is outstanding. The SIG P320 is for me very comfortable, now I will rent the range rental and if it lives up to my expectations I will be bringing a new one home with me.

Sorry for jumping to the defense of a decent gun prematurely.  They really are a decent gun when you give one a chance.  The P10S has the nicest trigger out of the box of any striker fired gun I’ve shot.  My son has a Sig P320 full size .45 and the trigger is decent, but lacks a firm wall.  It’s too much like a Glock trigger in that it breaks in a pool of mush.

I have a P10C and a P320. The P10 replaced a Glock 19. The trigger guard on the Glock was giving me Glock knuckle.

I love the P10C. The day I bought it I went straight to the range and shot it. Felt amazing in hand great trigger in my opinion. Very reliable zero malfunctions. I have the FDE with night sights and the ambi mag release that was difficult to drop a loaded mag. It became easier over time but not as easy as my other pistols so I put a Apex mag release in it that solved the problem.
For me both the P10C and the P320 have been 100% reliable and both great shooters.

I'm glad you are satisfied with P10, and praise it. My question is if you could only keep one, which would you keep?
