My only question is when.  Someone must have connections  at DW to find out.  Please

I received a reply from Dan Wesson about the availability of the DWX pistol.  Apparently they are aiming for 1st quarter of 2020.

Hopefully not on the P10C plan.

interesting.. curious about how many 40sw rounds it holds with 140mm mags..

springer says p09 w/ their pads and grams guts = 19

With CZC pads and spring and follower kit, can get 20 to 21, am told same is true of Henning pads with spring and followers.

Sweet gun. But it looks like the barrel sits higher so it might affect recoil.

I was all set to pick up a Stacatto-P this Xmas but I guess that's on hold.  I'm really excited about this.  A fundamental problem with 1911's has been getting shorter 9/40 cartridges to feed well in a system designed for much longer .45 rounds.  What sticks out to me is the long external extractor and the the guide rod and barrel arrangement.  I wonder if the slide is internally more similar to a Shadow in the rear?  Assuming it runs, this gun is going to make a strong presence in Limited and Open.  Hopefully someone makes a grip panel that takes advantage of all that smooth metal below the slide release and thumb safety.

This was my observation as well.

Any info on the compact? Using 75 compact mags is cool.

Low bore axis on CZ's is kind of an optical illusion because of the slide in frame design.  Strong hand distance from the bore is about the same.

the only thing i can say is WOW. that graph is amazing. I did no think that the BA was lower on CZ.  But I do think that of the difference  in slide to frame system makes the CZ muzzle rise just a bit less.

A well sorted 1911 in 9mm shoots incredibly flat, but I agree that the ergos of the CZ are what make the bigger difference.  The Sig P226 has a crazy high bore axis, but the grips are shaped perfectly for my hands so the gun returns to the same spot with little effort.  Glocks have the lowest bore axis but the frame shape took a lot more practice for me to get my grip technique dialed in.

Actually, a 9mm 1911 slide tends to move slower than a CZ75 9mm. A 2011 is actually very controllable for follow up shots, .40 included. I bet this DW is a big step up from a TSO, and not just in the trigger dept.
