Vz.61 with some modifications
« on: October 26, 2019, 08:43:12 PM »
Hi Gents,

I would like to show you vz.61 with some upgrades. In this configuration they are great carbines.

Adaptor plate allows fit any vz.58 stock on vz.61 pistol ( flat face with 2 threaded holes ). On the picture is one fitted with plastic solid stock and another one with M4 buffer tube conversion.

One with M4 buffer tube is fitted with OKO sight on OKO mount specific for Vz.61 ( Czech prison guards Scorpions are equip with same red dots )

They look great. What caliber? The VZ 61 in .32 acp will be my next purchase.

This one is in .22 LR
Unfortunately, in Britain semi-auto can be only 22 rimfire ( 22 LR, WMR, SR, ... )

To be honest, I shoot back in Czechoslovakia .32 ACP version ( standard issue Ministry of Internals ) first time when I was 9 years old and there was no recoil even then.

Very cool, I have never seen one with a Vz 58 stock. Hope it never gets to that point in the US....

CZ did it on 9x19 version, but not on anything else. I make those adapters because like the feel of 9mm version. Seems to work really good even on 22 version.

I know I'm resurrecting a zombie thread, but anyone know where he got that adapter plate? I really want to do something similar to this on my SBR.

I think that's the answer to your question.

Reading comprehension fail. Now I have to wonder how they were made? I'd love to get to work on making them.

Actually first production batch will be available soon. Adapters come CNC machined from 6065 alloy.

Greeting. I also own a modified vz61 and was wondering what do you gents think about it.  The stock was modified by a gunsmith to accomodate the docter sight so it still folds normally. As for the docter sight it was also mounted by a gunsmith.
