The site I was on was danwessonfirearmstore.com Try it.  I put one in the cart and was ready to check-out.
I know they can’t sell directly  but through a ffl?

they list the discontinued 715 (last produced in 2019 and fully sold out before the year's production began), their website has no phone number, no actual mailing address and their "contact us" page opens a map of San Diego. I'm going to say "probably not a real Dan Wesson company store".
I don't look like my avatar!

That site has no relation to Dan Wesson.

Every time the DWX thread gets bumped, Baby Jesus cries a little.  :'(

Nope no movement. Holding your breath for the DWX will only cause you to turn blue.

So disappointing this is still not available... I've been tempted by the Staccato while waiting for the DWX...

I'm already sold to Staccato line. Even I like DW pistols, I'm not waiting another 2 years.  :-[
I'm enjoying Staccato C2 DPO as my carry handgun now.  8)

That's great!  I wish the mags didn't cost $70+, but the gun itself is fantastic.

Yeap, that's true.
Thx God mag for Staccato R is cheap - it's a regular 1911 mil spec product.
C2 on the other hand...  ::)   ... but fortunately it comes with 3 mags. So far I've never needed more.

It is interesting that much of the discussion in this thread is centered around the Staccato. They are very nice guns.

Hard to find other alternative to DWX.  I sacrificed ambidextrous mag release....  :-\  I'm done waiting for DW.
