Update:

I finally got to play with my P-10F on Sunday.  For my 147gr 132PF loads I ended up landing on the 13# commander spring.  I threw in some 147gr Blazer Brass but it felt like it needed the 14#.  That's when the fun stopped.  With the heavier spring and ammo I started getting doubles.  The trigger would bump itself on reset during speed drills.  I had to firmly pin the trigger back and deliberately reset it.  I switched back to the 13# and lighter loads and it was fine again, but I definitely needed to get that sorted.  I recut the 10320 competition striker and reduced the leg angle from about 80 to 83 degrees.  It raised my trigger pull weight about 5oz, but I didn't have any doubling with the factory ammo and 14# when I tested yesterday.  I only shot a few mags though.  As far as the rod goes, it's awesome.  I swapped my SRO to try a 407C, and despite the shorter window, the dot just barely touches the top of the window in recoil.

Well the gun ran great until my 4th stage when I started getting erratic ejection and stovepipes.  I thought I was limp-wristing the gun which was odd since my splits were right around 0.20.  I discovered the problem when I removed the slide to clean it.  The ejector leg snapped off.

Fortunately I bought a bunch of spare parts from CZ including the rear insert.  I think the top round in the mag was hitting the ejector leg, and since I had previously setup the mag to take 23 rounds, there wasn't enough deadspace for the spring to compress and absorb the shock during reloads.  Some metal actually bulges down below the rest of the leg, so I'll fill it away.

Had this exact thing happen to me today shooting my first match in carry optics with the P10F. I currently have springer precision base pads with the stock follower and spring. I can fit 22, but I'm guessing there's not enough extra space for the spring to depress a little when its in the gun. Ordered a couple of those rear inserts as well. Did filing that extra metal at the bottom of the leg help out with that problem?

So far so good.  Ejection is normal and the top round no longer makes contact when I check with the slide off.  It's still possible to blow past the mag catch though.

Are the P10 guide rods the same as the P09 guide rods?

If so... I used a S&W M&P 5in tungsten guide rod in my P09 and use a Wolff CZ 75 15lb spring. Works great! Although I will be trying out a few lighter springs (14 and 13lb).

Hello earlan357,

I'm a new member here, but not firearms. Beautiful on the guide rods! I've been hunting for a tungsten guide rod for my CZ P10C, but unable to locate one so I bought a tungsten guide rod for a P10F from Stonebridge Gunworks.

I will see if a machinist can shorten it for me.

Were you able to get this done?  I have a spare tungsten G17 guide rod that I’d like to have cut down for my C as well.  I already have the tungsten Stonebridge in my F.
