Amazon custom grips
« on: November 08, 2019, 08:51:42 PM »
Amazon grips. I never trust their reviews. For some reason I think they're bias.

Has anyone bought any of the grips from Amazon, Etcy, or where ever?

I saw a couple nice ones on Amazon. But I hate getting junk(oops almost used bad word)only to have to return it and then they take 6 mos to replace it. Or you have to argue with someone because they try to make you believe it fits, or you're doing something wrong. My favorite, it worked when we went it to you. Of course Amazon takes care of their customers, if it wasn't sent by third party.I

Ok rants done. So guun looks nice. There's also a couple Pachmayr. There's these ones made by DOXICON&NOMIX. their idea not mine. I like the scorpion and skulls.

Just got a set of CoolHand carbon-fiber grips yesterday off Amazon for a 75 B SA - yep, I'm happy with them. I had the same concern - "Will they fit?" - but all worked well. When I leave a review on Amazon I try to be as specific about the model as possible to help other folks.

Great. There's still the off chance. You know Amazon. But not so apprehensive now.

That’s because they are CoolHand and not knockoffs.
Used to own a CZ Jawa...

There's a couple that look like they're quality grips. Others look like someone chewed them out of a piece of wood

I have purchased 2 sets of Coolhand grips made for a CZ compact frame. No fitment issues at all.

Do you remember the brand name? The pair I want is under their prime stuff.  Hopefully not a problem. I like the Guun too.

Yeah.. the last one I've tried... "Pachmayr". They looked great.. even felt great in my hands, but impossible to install on pistol. Screw holes didn't match, and they chipped off when tried harder fit them in my pistol.
I've learnt my lesson. Once you see more than one negative feedback from users.. stay away from the product  :(

Agree. I returned my a set of CoolHand CZ grips because it didn't fit tight against the frame and ordered LOK instead
