Hey All,
Thought I'd share since people are curious.
My first pistol was a Sig P228 back in 95, I added a P229 (.357 sig) in 97, bought a gen 3 glock 19 in 98 or 99. One day in the fall of 2001, I got tired of lugging that heavy P229 around, hated the look of the slide compared to the P228, but I did like shooting the .357 round. The round was not a big enough factor for me to keep the gun tho, sold it and bought another glock 19.
In 2006, bought what was then called the Sig P226 Navy (now the Sig MK25), cause operator, and handled the HK P30 while at the gun shop, looked at the price and said "nope"
Was happy with my two glock 19(s) and my Sigs. Glocks got carried, the Navy was my night stand gun, cause operator. These were my handguns until 2011, when I won a Sig P220.
Then the pistol scene exploded in 2015-Present, bought and sold the walther ppq, pps m2, m&p m2.0 compact, fn 509, hk vp9, sold all the sigs, went all in on HK(s) when the price dropped on the P-series, cause started to carry appendix and liked a hammer gun for that.
In 2017, bought a P07, bought another in 2018 - along with a P09. Purchased a P10 F this spring, liked it so much, bought another, but the USA made Optics Ready version, cause dot life. Picked up a Beretta Elite LTT this summer and luv shooting it, but won't carry it. The P10 F(s) are my nightstand guns.
Have run Glocks since the late 90's, the P10 series is very similar (that was CZ's plan); been running DA/SA since the mid 90's
I can say, you don't know if something is better, until you try it. Testing and evaluating new models has nothing to do with being a newb or proficiency.
