Thanks, man.  I didn’t realize they even made them in stainless...I thought only the full size.  Pretty steep price.

The steep price is due to them being a very small batch that were mislabeled as stainless but actually a nickel plated steel frame, which makes them collectible to some people. CZ hasn’t ever to my knowledge actually produced a true stainless compact, I for one would be happy to purchase on were they to become available.

That one is BEAUTIFUL! Unfortunately it is hard chrome and not actually stainless steel.

Still there selling at $1440.  Been there for more than a year and counting.  Too pricey for me, especially for nickel-plated stainless.

How does this hard chrome hold up? Flaking issues ? Scratch easy ? Please forgive my ignorance This is my first inquiry pertaining to a pistol that is “hard chrome”

I had Cajun Gun Works do a Pro Package on a 75 Compact and then had it re-finished in hard chrome. Polished flats and matte rounds. It looks like stainless.

In regard to sfost's question, industrially plated hard chrome is the most durable finish of which I'm aware.  It should not peel (like a soft chromed car bumper can) and is more scratch resistant than stainless steel.  Tactically, matte and brushed hard chrome do not glare.
