Frame mount for optic on CZ 97

Has anyone had a frame mounted optic plate installed on a 97?  I’m envisioning a 97 set up like my TSO with this.

Yes, we can install our Side Scope Mount (SKU 10526) on a CZ 97. See below for an estimate:
SKU 10526 Scope Mount - $94.47
Drill & Tap Frame Holes - $90.00
Slide Milling for Pocket - $180.00 (optional)
Avg return shipping: $45.00
Estimated turnaround time: 6 weeks
 
Please keep in mind that we are currently out of stock of the Side Scope Mount so the turnaround time could be up to 8 weeks.

While I'm not a fan of red dots on pistols this would be cool to see. Add a light rail and I may need to check it out to replace my M45a1 as my HD gun

Pretty sure they meant frame milling to create the TSO/Czechmate mount pocket that is similar to this in the pic.

I have several pistols with the slide milled for red dots - old eyes and can't see open sights well anymore.  I wasn't sure how I'd like the frame mount on my TSO, but it has quickly become my favorite pistol by far.  My centerfire 1911s now sit in the safe unloved.  Having a .45 version just seems like it would be an awesome shooter.  A 97 with a frame mounted optic, thumb rest, E bushing and a full SAO trigger job may be my Christmas gift to myself this year!

Hi Jeff! I too am considering a 97B. I asked Stuart if they can mill the slide for an optic plate similar to what they do for the Bull Shadow Optics Ready.
He replied currently they do not but perhaps after SHOT show they may start doing it.  A 97 with the accu bushing, RDS and SAO I think would compete with the best of the 1911s

I know several people have had 97s milled for rds.  I think Cajun and Primary Machine do it.
