Appears the HBI updated the BREN 2 handguard, went with the gas adjustment knob cutout route like on those SCAR rails. The older version appears to be phased out, I wonder if those had problems.

Yeah I saw that, wish they would have done this from the beginning that’s the one thing I didn’t like about my original version. I was planning on modding it myself at some point. Would be awesome if they offered an option where I could send mine in for them to mill out the same window.

Thats been out for awhile now. If you want an older one, just put up a post a lot of people are selling them for the new one.

Don't own a BREN yet because of my residence, maybe I'll buy one and just hold it lol

I like results besides scope mount, look too high and scope in shifted too much. Which Trijicon is this?

Maybe not having to use a tool to remove that rail part would have been better.
