SP-01 guide rod upgrade feedback
« on: December 08, 2019, 03:51:51 PM »
After doing some research I am leaning upward getting the CGW 75060 steel guide rod.  Seems like works out to the box without needing any tuning.  Is that a good option?

Assuming it is was going to par it with a CGW spring from their Tuners pack.  Likely grey 14#?

Gun has a cgw pro package in it and is used for USPSA with my lighter hand loads.

Tia for your feedback.

Been done a million times. What kind of tuning would a guide rod require?

I was told that CZ Custom rods require some fitting

just installed CGW steel guide rod a couple of days ago in my SP-01 Tac, no fitting required. Installed with the green spring.

If you are going to use for competition, many folks prefer the yellow, 11# spring with 124g or 147g bullets.
